Ringstead were extremely fortunate with the weather for their 29th Open Gardens event, particularly since we have seen our fair share of rain during June as much of the UK can vouch for!! As usual, the event attracted hundreds of visitors from far and wide and raised funds for the local church and other charities.
The open gardens were supported by other attractions
including a Church flower festival, plant stalls, crafts, tombola,
bric-a-brac, cakes and entertainment by The Lavender Hill Mob added to
the atmosphere. Visitors had the opportunity to record their own
musical efforts on to CD as well!
