The
Heacham Group Practice Patients' Participation Group (PPG) held their
annual raffle draw on Friday, 1 December. Thirty superb prizes were given by
individuals and local traders. The money raised exceeded £1,300, later
boosted by an additional
£586 raised by a second
raffle
at Snettisham Surgery on "'flu jab day". |

The draw
was
made by
Dr Tyabji
who
(along with
Dr Lake)
also
received
from
Mike Press
(PPG Chairman)
a cheque for
£3,750
for the
Practice
Amenity
Fund. |
|
The Fund is a
registered
charity
to provide
extra
equipment
for the
Practice and
Patients.
Dr Lake
was able to
announce the
purchase of two
state of the art
defibrillators,
replacing the two
purchased ten
years ago. |

The
PPG spokesperson said:
"We are grateful to everyone who was involved in making this year's draw
such a success,
especially Pat Courtney-Green, who organised it, the individuals and
local traders who sold tickets for us, those who kindly donated prizes
and - last,
but by no means least - everyone who bought tickets." |
