A celebration function to mark the Golden Anniversary of Heacham Wildfowlers was held at the Public Hall with a vast array of memorabilia and photographs on display.  Everyone remarked how great it was to read of all the achievements over the past 50 years - from the enormous work carried out on the regeneration of the marshes to the tutoring of the young generation in clay shooting during the immensely popular Summer Activities Programme. 

A huge spread of food was laid on for the members old and new along with their guests - in all an estimated total of over 200.  Many tales were told from the meeting of old faces from the past which went on throughout the evening.

Well done Wildfowlers - a great time was had by all.
