Clearing up following Thursday's storms was, as expected, a slow process. Work to relieve The Chestnut House in Heacham of its unwanted foliage began around 9am on Saturday, 20 January. The size of the tree was so substantial that it required heavy duty crane equipment (one of pictured below) to lift the tree. After a long day's work, Hunstanton Road was finally clear for normal traffic (by 5pm I am told). |
