RECENT NEWS FROM HEACHAM DIGITAL CAMERA CLUB
 

During the first Camera Club meet of the New Year (8 January 2022), votes were cast by Club members for the Photograph of the Year competition.  All winning photographs from the ‘2007 Theme of the Month’ competitions were displayed. 

Competition organiser, Ray Hanford announced 1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd places.

1^st was Derek Dean from Hunstanton with Southwold Beach Huts
2^nd was Fred Galley from Denver with Sailing in the Greek Sunset
3^rd was Fred Galley with an idyllic hide-away in Suffolk

Derek Dean and Fred Galley were joint winners by capturing the most winning photographs in our ‘Theme of the Month’ competition throughout 2007.  Certificates for Photographer of the Year 2007 were also presented on the night and engraved plaques are now in progress.

The winning photos will be on display within the village by Easter 2008.  Details of where you can view the photos will be published in The February Heacham Newsletter.

Heacham Digital Camera Club members come from far and wide and meet at The Wheatsheaf Inn, 5 Lynn Road, Heacham - usually on the first and third Tuesday of the month.  The Club welcomes anyone who has a digital camera, no matter how small or large it may be.  The common factor is simply that all members have a shared interest in photography.
