It wasn't the best weather for events like Flower Festivals but, despite the never ending deluge this June has brought much of the UK, the volunteers and organisers of Heacham Flower Festival did their utmost to put on a great show.  The church looked beautiful and it sounded equally lovely thanks to the voice of Stephanie Walford (formerly Rawlings).  Amongst the lovely flowers were displays dedicated to 400 years of the founding of Jamestown and also 100 years of Heacham Football Club.

I am sorry to say I missed one of the high points of the weekend - a concert by the  Cantabile Youth Choir on the Saturday evening.  Prior to this concert, the Choir had recently completed a successful tour of Virginia.  (Note - if I have the spelling of the choir's name wrong please let me know!)
