7th ANNUAL HEACHAM BEER FESTIVAL
FOX & HOUNDS AND FOX BREWERY

These jolly revellers were very keen to say hi

HOL braved yet another downpour that we are all becoming accustomed to this summer to see what was going on at the Seventh Heacham Beer Festival.  Ten out of ten for the BBQ staff at the Fox & Hounds for their efforts this weekend.  Not only were they getting regularly soaked to feed the masses (yes they did brave the weather) of Beer Festival supporters, they packed up on Sunday afternoon (the only dry day) only to set up on South Beach to feed the hordes at the Heacham Beach Party later that evening.  Top marks also to Mark and Marie for organising yet another marathon event and pulling in the crowds despite all the rain water that we had to deal with.

The band on Friday night sounded great and I am sorry I was unable to visit on Saturday evening too.  Instead I popped along on Sunday afternoon hoping to see the bikers from the Vincent HRD Owners Club.  Regrettably, I arrived too late to meet them.  Sorry guys.  Next time.

Bands over the weekend included Kent Duchaine from the USA, Beyond Duplication and Egypt.

It was nice to see that the event was raising funds for Hunstanton RNLI too.   I look forward to Marie's report on how it all went.

You won't go hungry here

shThe new brewery makes a nicer Beer Festival bar
than the Function Room

The customers seem to think so too

Our hardy Beer Festival BBQ team

Staying dry in the marquee and great music too!

Can you spot Marie behind the bar?

Friday's Band

The dryest day of this Festival.  Thank God for small mercies.

The marquee is still great even if there is no rain

Can you spot Mark and Dolly behind the bar?

Sunday's band

Even the BBQ team have to eat!

It's great that we can sit out and enjoy the Festival al fresco today

Thanks to Ossie from Essex for this great shot of the visit by the
HRD Vincent Owners Club to the Beer Festival

Thanks to Rob Topliss for sending in this shot of Marie
