Many thanks to Malcolm for going out in an awful downpour to
take the majority of these photos.

This year's
Heacham Horse Show was, unfortunately, not blessed with
the glorious weather of last year. In true show
biz tradition, the show went on regardless.
Malcolm braved the deluge of pre-lunch rain (best
illustrated by the first photographs above!). |

Malcolm
watched a number of brave souls participating in the
jumping under what have been described as "appalling
conditions". They were at least all in the same
boat!! |

By the time I
got to the field things were considerably drier, albeit
muddy. The afternoon competitors were therefore
able to carry on under more civilised conditions.
I had a brief opportunity to chat with commentator,
Robert Frost and learned that the event had participants
from many locations outside of Heacham. |

Helena Beamis (16), with the rosette
(top right) for
youngest horse/pony Class, has
been riding for approx 12 years
and helps out at Park
Farm Riding Centre at weekends.
In last year's Heacham Horse Show, Helena was placed 2nd
in the veteran horse class and came 3rd in the coloured
showing class. |

I await full
details of the winners at the 2006 Heacham Horse Show. |
