Clay Pigeon Shooting
Hosted by Heacham Wildfowlers Association

It was a lovely sunny day for the clay pigeon shooting, and I was very impressed with
the high standard of safety and tuition supplied by the hosts. As you can see from
the photo above there was plenty of adult supervision and over 15 eager youngsters.

The day was successful because of the hard work of Philippa from the Parish Council Office, Mick Jennings and the members of the Wildfowlers who turned out to help and instruct. Others who played an important part in the session were William Heal (Head of Eastern Area BASC), Mike Reynolds (Mid Norfolk Shooting School), Graham Brown (late of Sandringham Shooting School). Steve Atthowe (Norfolk Constabulary Fire Arms Enquiry Officer). Unfortunately Mike Williams (Senior Instructor of the CPSA) had to pull out at the very last minute through a knee injury, we wish him a speedy recovery.
