Luckily the weather held out for us, and I believe everyone who
came enjoyed the afternoon. There were plenty of stalls, a bouncy castle
and live music from Caprice. I am pleased to say we raised £422.63
towards repairs urgently needed at the Guide & Scout Hut. Not bad
considering we were competing with so many big events, including Live 8
and the Hospital Fete among them. In addition we saw less people than we
did last year but those that came spent generously.
