Sunday 27th June 2004

After a wet Saturday, fingers were kept crossed for Sunday. We woke up to glorious sunshine and it was still shining at noon when ten Heacham  village gardens were opened to the public in aid of various charities. All went well until a sudden downpour at 3pm had everyone scurrying for cover. But after about half an hour out came the sun again, back came the people and all in all a very successful day. Let us hope the event encourages even more gardens to open to the public in 2005

Congratulations to the organisers for all their efforts
