A fund raising event was
held at Putting Green Caravan Park on Sunday 17th August 2003 in
aid of Macmillan Nurses and East Anglian Air ambulance. A total
of £832.34 was raised and of this £700 was donated to the
Macmillan Nurses and £132.34 to East Anglian air ambulance.
Pam Thomas, the organiser, would like to thank all those who
donated prizes for the raffle, tombola and bric a brac; the
helpers on the day and of course those who came along and spent
their money so generously. So many people gave their help and
made this event such a success. Pam would like to say a
special thank you to the team of 12-14 year olds boys and girls
from the caravan park who helped not only on the day but during
the three weeks leading up to the event. they are Yasmin Sopp,
Simon Penny, Kelly and Sam Lawrence, Victoria Dongworth, Nichol
and Keighley Loughran. Well done kids!.
A further £135.00 was raised with a raffle at the annual 'Hog
Roast' held on the caravan park. |
