2003 and the new Pier takes shape

The week before Easter 2003 and the weather is sunny and hot, visitors arrive at Hunstanton and the new pier starts to take shape. The work will be going on throughout the summer.
The same hot weather also hits Heacham, but all our seafront work is complete so visitors can enjoy the new look North Beach with no interruptions.
Easter weekend and what happens, the sun goes behind the clouds, the wind gets up and it looks very much like rain...........have we seen it all before.
