A selection of
gift and souvenir items, featuring the special
Pocahontas logo, to commemorate 400 years
of
Jamestown and its connections with Heacham are now
on sale at various outlets in Heacham.
Most of the range is in
English Pewter which was widely used in the 17th
century and includes a Medallion, Tankard and Letter Openers.
The
Medallion and Tankard have been created in a limited
Yellow Gold edition of 400. An Anniversary Tea
Towel, featuring Heacham Buildings as drawn by local
artist Kerry Long, will also be available.
In addition, Heacham's
Fox Brewery (located at The Fox & Hounds Public
House) have developed a honey ale called "Jamestown"
to mark the event.
